Whilst animating the central image layer of my poster I took some screenshots to show the development of the final animation. One can see that initially I was planning on using a bubble effect on the textured shadowing of my letters, however to give it more of a fluid effect, I used smaller particles with a higher gravity amount in order to give it the desired effect.

Similarly, I started playing with the actual orange “gift” letters in order to make them look like floating, jelly-like, glob letters. I used the turbulent displace tool to achieve this effect. This as well as setting my last keyframe as my first in order to create a continuous loop of the movement.
