CDP HW: find 2 variable fonts and incorporate them into your css.

So I’ve found that I’m not so sure if variable fonts and I get along. I mean, I feel like I could potentially work on our relationship but right now they’re just needy and difficult! I thought that finding ones that are not licensed and ones you don’t have to pay for was hard enough. Albeit, this wasn’t the hardest part of my afternoon, no no, I then had to find the source of the font to download it from. By this point I had to take a break…

Okay, so once I worked up the mental momentum to continue, I downloaded my title variable font and incorporated that into my css. Then deleted all prior fonts, played around with the font in Axis Praxis and copied and pasted the css.

Eventually, after many tries I got it.

Conclusion: axis praxis temperamental, variable fonts and I have a love, hate relationship and all my technology hates me today.
