Use of painted over images, royal/ gallery theme/ use of romantic “high art”

Dothraki Language: Play with more of a rough style to resemble that of the people. Do not use too much stylistic inspo from GOT (Thrones) but play with own style and resemble the change of language. Adult to teen change/ Clan to clan change.

I may illustrate the 5 chapters as 5 clans of Dothraki with varied dialects and or changed impressions of the language. With reference to this design, I may take influence from this working illustration as it neatly separates the worlds in a neat an easy-to-follow manner. However, my consideration is to not draw too much influence from the Thrones opening sequence and its map. My plan, if I follow through with this design , is to completely re-design and re-look at the way in which the Dothraki has been presented.

I really like this style of drawing over real images so I’m thinking of heading into this direction with regards to style

I may consider making use of a circular navigation element as opposed to a side bar
