Defining: Hierarchy

In the context of typography, hierarchy refers to what type takes initial preference in the design. This alongside what type or section will be considered a secondary aspect to the main copy. Hierarchy makes reference to defining type-order by means of typographic styling (bold, thin, black, light etc.)
